
Seaphiline Agro's impact story of purpose, innovation and impact

FOR many farmers, the journey into agriculture begins with a simple desire to produce food. However, for Ebenezer Amao, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Seaphiline Agro Enterprise in Nigeria, farming represents a bigger mission —creating nutritious food solutions, empowering communities, reducing post-harvest losses and building a sustainable agribusiness enterprise.
Amao’s farming journey began with small-scale agricultural activities and pilot production efforts in 2023. Like many new farmers, he faced challenges including access to quality inputs, funding, market opportunities and processing infrastructure. However, these obstacles strengthened his determination to build an enterprise that does not only produce food but also adds value to agricultural products and empowers farming communities.
“From the beginning, I wanted to build an enterprise that goes beyond food production by creating value and improving livelihoods,” Amao explained.
